What’s the story of your bookstore’s origin?
We opened in 2017 along with the grand opening of the new Austin Central Library. We serve as the only retail space within the Austin Public Library system.
What makes your bookstore special?
APL Shop offers a fun selection of library-branded merchandise, literary-themed treasures, and gifts crafted by local artists. We also offer a variety of used books and media discarded from our collection and from public donations. Every purchase directly supports the Austin Public Library. Discover something special and give back to the community at the same time.
